The wife of Yannick Carrasco, Noemie Happart, has welcomed interest from Premier League clubs and confirmed they want to leave China and return to Europe.

Carrasco left Atletico Madrid in February 2018 to sign for Dalian Yifang and has scored seven goals in 25 appearances so far for the Chinese Super League club.

Recent reports suggest he’s unhappy in the far east and is looking to move in the January transfer window.

Arsenal and Manchester United were reportedly offered the player, but Unai Emery’s statement that the club will only bring in players on loan might scupper the deal.

Carrasco’s wife, Noemie Happart has confirmed the reports linking her husband to Arsenal and Manchester United.

“There are a lot of things going on, he has been called by a lot of clubs,” Happart told Belgian TV Show RTBF.

“A lot of clubs are interested, nothing concrete, nothing has been signed yet.

“Yes, they [Arsenal and Manchester United] are interested. I do not hide it, but nothing is signed.”
