Dani Ceballos has revealed that he hasn’t spoken to Zinedine Zidane since he left Real Madrid to join Arsenal last summer.
Dani Ceballos has brought further uncertainty to his future destination after revealing he hasn’t spoken with Zidane last summer.
The Spaniard is currently on a season-long loan at Arsenal, with that contract set to expire at the end of June.
It’s still not clear where Ceballos will be playing next season, but he hasn’t been in contact with Zidane recently.
Ceballos told Vamos in an interview: “I haven’t spoken to Zidane since I left Madrid. It has to be difficult to have a dressing room with so many players.”
“I don’t think he needs to talk to players out on loan.
“I think he has to focus on the 23 players that he has.”
Ceballos had a brilliant start to life last August but saw injuries hamper his chances in the first team.
The Spaniard eventually saw playing time hard to come by but he looked to be getting back in the thick of the fold before football went suspended.
A recent report claimed Ceballos would be looking to fight for a starting spot at parent club Real Madrid, rather than a permanent deal with Arsenal.
