Real Madrid loanee is living some of the best days of his career at Arsenal. The hard-working playmaker already gained fans’ trust.
While the team is going up and down in their performances, Arsenal fans are thrilled with the influx of youth in the team.
Martinelli, Tierney, and Ceballos are cited as the club’s most exciting additions this season.
Unai Emery likes the Spaniard, given that Ceballos started five Premier League matches already while making three appearances off the bench.
The former Betis midfielder is currently on loan from Real Madrid where he spent two seasons.
Even though he did well when he played, Ceballos couldn’t earn Zidane’s trust, which saw him benched for most of the Frenchman’s stint at the club.
In an attempt to gain playing time, Real Madrid loaned Ceballos to England. The creative midfielder seems to be loving his time playing for the Gunners.
According to Marca, Ceballos commented on his situation, saying:
“It was clear I wanted to leave,” he said.
“I’ve been successful in leaving, now I’m where I want to be and I’m very happy.
“My idea was to leave, play and enjoy football. In the previous two years I hadn’t done that.”
When asked about his experience of playing with Sergio Busquets in the Spanish national team, Ceballos said:
“I love playing with Busquets.
“He measures the time and speed of the game very well. He’s a reference for young people.”
And finally, with Spain participating both in Euro and the Olympics, Ceballos concluded:
“I could play in the Euros and the Olympics. It’d be a dream for me to be in Tokyo.”
