Dani Ceballos has not talked with Real Madrid but has stated his ambitions for the next season which include playing in the Euros and Olympics.
After being forced into a peripheral role at the Santiago Bernabeu, Dani Ceballos moved to Arsenal on a yearlong loan. He played under two Spanish managers and managed plenty of first-team minutes under his belt.
To mark his season back in the first-team fold, Ceballos lifted the FA Cup with Arsenal. The young midfielder was pleased with the win and now has his sights set on accomplishing goals with Real Madrid.
“It’s a satisfaction to have won the FA Cup. I’m thrilled to end the season with a title,” Mirror quoted Ceballos.
“Real Madrid have remained close to me throughout the season, not just now. I’m grateful for that. I spoke to the Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who has congratulated me for the title.”
“From today, I am a Real Madrid player and I’m happy about that. Real Madrid have an important game against Manchester City and from then on, I will talk to the club and discuss my future.”
The European Championships and Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Ceballos wants to line-up for Spain and stated that this is his aim for next season.
“Next year there’s the European Championship and the Olympics and I want to enjoy football, to be happy and play a minimum of 35 games, that is my aim.”
