Bayern Munich practically booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with a big 3-0 win at Samford Bridge against Chelsea.
The Bavarians were too good for Chelsea this evening, as they secured a 3-0 advantage from the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 encounter.
Serge Gnabry starred in London once again, netting the opening two goals in a period of only three minutes (in the 51st and the 54th min), both of them coming on the assist of Robert Lewandowski.
The Polish striker netted one himself to set the final score, while Marcos Alonso got sent off seven minutes from full time after violent conduct against Bayern Munich’s number 9.
