Lampard might have to make some tough calls for Chelsea over the coming weeks as the Blues look to be running out of steam lately.
Chelsea failed to sign a striker in the winter window and that leaves Lampard with Abraham as the only “reliable” striker.
The 22-year-old has been one of the shining lights for Chelsea this season but is already looking fatigued.
Reportedly, the England international played against Leicester City through pain and has shown no signs of letting down.
Olivier Giroud’s future continues to look uncertain after a failed move and Batshuayi is not good enough.
The Blues are still in the Champions League and Abraham has vowed to help the team by scoring more goals.
“Playing for a club like Chelsea there is always going to be pressure,” he said to Sky Sports.
“For me it is about being in the right place at the right time and believing in myself and my abilities as well. I am sure I will score a few more. I like the pressure and I play under pressure.
“For me I can’t complain, it has been a great season so far. I would like to push on. There are still massive games. I just have to be ready for them and take my opportunities.”
