Kurt Zouma has revealed that Frank Lampard does not like to see Chelsea on the losing side.
After a brilliant start to their Premier League journey under new manager Frank Lampard, Chelsea seem to have hit a bump in the road. The Blues have registered only one victory in their last five games while dropping nine points in the process.
Ahead of their Champions League tie against Lille, Zouma told that Frank Lampard doesn’t want his men to repeat their mistakes. Kurt Zouma has insisted that Lampard does not like to lose and wants his team to not lose motivation.
“He hates a defeat, he hates it. We were frustrated with the defeat [Everton on Saturday] of course,” Zouma told the club’s official website.
“I think that’s a message for us to answer. We have to play with personality and show character because we lost at the weekend. It’s clear he wants to motivate us and we’re already motivated for this game.
“He wants us to be more responsible in the games and take more risks. He knows the quality that we have in the squad with very talented players,” Kurt Zouma added.
“We have to play the game like we play in training, be good, take risks and play without fear.”
