With Donnarumma looking more and more likely to call quits at Milan, Chelsea have become the latest club to be interested in the goalkeeper’s services.
The future of Donnarumma at Milan is hanging in the balance as the shot-stopper continues to stall with contract negotations.
Despite being only 21, the Italian looks like he has played forever and already boasts a lot of experience on his hands.
Donnarumma has a contract running until 2021 and Milan risk losing him for free if a new contract can not be agreed this summer.
Lots of clubs have shown interest in the goalkeeper and Calciomercato report that Chelsea are the latest to join the race.
As per the report, Donnarumma and his agent, Mino Raiola are still open to discussing a new deal with Milan but would need to discuss the club’s future projects and see how it fits perfectly for the goalkeeper.
The same report goes on to say that Raiola and his client will not consider anything sort of a discount in wages, for a contract extension.
Calciomercato claim Lampard has been disappointed with Kepa Arrizabalaga, who only just returned to action after being kept on the bench for seven games, after terrible displays on the pitch.
Chelsea would monitor the situation of Donnarumma at Milan and will try to make a move if it seems like a new contract isn’t coming through.
We already reported that Milan are already considering three names to replace Donnarumma and it could mean an exit now is very likely.
