Frank Lampard’s Chelsea were looking for a win to extend the positive streak as they haven’t lost once since late December.
It didn’t start off nicely for Chelsea, either. Burnley scored early on, only for VAR to rule out Jeff Hendrick’s opening goal.
This obviously scared the Blues, who started playing with more dynamic from that moment.
It all culminated after Jorginho converted a penalty for Chelsea in the 27th minute.
Tammy Abraham struck another one, so Lampard had a calm halftime talk.
As soon as the second-half started, Callum Hudson-Odoi confirmed his great form by scoring the final goal of the match.
With Manchester United’s win, this now means that the Blues are still five points ahead of the Red Devils.
As for Burnley, they are now just four points above the relegation zone. Perhaps the alarming sounds could go off soon at Turf Moor.
