Chelsea will have to wait till the weekend to discover if Tammy Abraham would be fit enough to face Manchester United.
Tammy Abraham is currently Chelsea’s top score this season with 13 league goals and two in the Champions League.
The 22-year-picked up an injury against Arsenal last month and has struggled with fitness since then.
Abraham had to play through the pain barrier against Leicester City and it was evident he was struggling.
Now manager Frank Lampard confirmed the striker hasn’t completed a full week’s training and would have to be assessed over the weekend.
“Tammy is still feeling the effects to be honest,” said Lampard to the club’s official website.
“We had to take him out of training a couple of days this week. He trained today so we’re hopeful but [he is] to be assessed over the weekend.”
Abraham is Chelsea’s most inform and reliable striker so far this season and his absence could be a huge loss for the Blues on Monday.
