After getting an incredible 4-4 draw versus Ajax, Chelsea players were thrilled after the historic performance from Lampard’s men.
Reece James came on at the half-time to try and make a difference for Chelsea.
The Blues were inspired by Lampard’s half-time talk, and with James’ help, the team came back from the dead for a big draw at home.
Asked about what made the difference in the match, Reece James, the fourth goalscorer, replied:
“It was a crazy game. Scoring a goal is a bonus. The manager told me to come on and liven the boys up,” as quoted by Football365.
