Serie A leaders Juventus will once again be without the services of star defender and captain Giorgio Chiellini and Mario Mandzukic when they take on Ajax tomorrow night.

Max Allegri’s men will host the Dutch league leaders Ajax in Turin, for the second-leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the clubs.

The encounter is a classic European showdown considering the history of both clubs in the competition.

However, the Italian champions head into the tie with the advantage of an away goal, having picked up a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam last week.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s opener was cancelled by David Neres who took advantage of Cancelo’s mistake immediately after the break.

Chiellini wants to continue working at Juventus after retirement

The Bianconeri footballer expects to continue playing for one or two more years, then he says he will join the team's technical staff.

Considering the magnitude of the game, Juve needs a full house to ensure the Eredivisie leaders don’t replicate the feat achieved at the Bernabeu.

Unfortunately, reports from Football Italia confirmed Chiellini has not recovered in time for tomorrow night. And the Italian did not feature in Juventus training today.

However, there were some positive news as former Liverpool man Emre Can and Douglas Costa were both part of the first-team training.

The Bianconeri’s will be seeking to return to winning ways on Tuesday night after losing 2-1 to SPAL in their last Serie A clash.

Juventus squad for Ajax: Szczesny, Pinsoglio, Loria; De Sciglio, Alex Sandro, Barzagli, Bonucci, Cancelo, Rugani, Spinazzola; Pjanic, Khedira, Matuidi, Emre Can, Bentancur, Nicolussi Caviglia; Ronaldo, Dybala, Douglas Costa, Bernardeschi
