Christian Pulisic is playing his last campaign at the Signal Iduna Park, as the 20-year old winger will complete his move to Chelsea at the end of the season.

USA international, Christian Pulisic joined the Borussia Dortmund Youth Academy in 2015. He crossed the Atlantic Ocean as a 16-year old kid and moved to Europe for a better future in football.

He was a real hit in the youth categories of the Bundesliga and after scoring 10 and assisting eight goals in just 15 games with the Dortmund youth teams, Pulisic was called to join the first team over winter break at the start of 2016.

He has played 121 games for the Black and Yellows since then, establishing himself as one of the most talented players in Europe.

The 20-year old winger signed for Chelsea in a €64 million deal in the January transfer window. However, Pulisic will finish the season with Borussia Dortmund, as he was immediately loaned out to the Bundesliga side.

The youngster said that he owes his career to the Black and Yellows, because ‘everything they promised, came true’.

“When I came here, just a little kid, I didn’t know what could possibly happen or what really this club was about,” he said via Bundesliga’s official website.

“They promised me that they would give me chances here and that I would come in and they would treat me right, and really give me my chances to become a professional if I worked hard at it. I had to work a lot to get to this point, but everything they promised kinda came true.”

“Nothing was easy to come over to Europe – to make this step, I’m really happy that I did it,” explained Pulisic. “It just made me so much stronger, not only as a player but as a person too. I’m really thankful for that.”
