Antonio Conte is optimistic about Inter Milan’s chances in the Europa League and believes they have a strong shot at lifting the trophy.
There is one thing certain when you have Conte on the sidelines, energy, and passion. The Italian tactician has glimpses of his former self when he used to the lineup as a midfielder.
Juventus and Chelsea have benefited from it before and now it is Inter Milan’s turn. Conte turned the Nerazzurri into genuine title challengers in the space of a year.
They finished second in Serie A but still have a chance to finish with a winner’s medal. They take on Getafe in the Europa League round of 16 in Germany and are favorites for the competition.
Conte has vowed to do everything he can to lift the trophy as he focuses on the competition.
“I’ll do everything in my power,” Conte was quoted by Football Italia. “We are here with the lads to get the most out of it, then it’s inevitable that there are others who would like to steal our idea, but we must take step by step.”
“Tomorrow’s game will be very difficult, and we must think about this match, then we will eventually think about the next one.”
“But everything depends on tomorrow, we’re either in or we’re out and we have to do well to demonstrate our desire to advance and overcome our opponents.”
