Antonio Conte is demanding victory from his Inter Milan side in the Europa League and expects his players to do whatever it takes.

It has been a trophyless season so far fo Antonio Conte and Inter Milan.

They lost out to Juventus in the Serie A title race and knocked out of the Coppa Italia at the semi-final stage by eventual winners Napoli. Their Champions League campaign was virtually over before it began after failing to progress from the group stage.

The Nerazzurri were demoted to the Europa League and it remains their only hope of lifting a trophy this season.

With the likes of Manchester United still in the tournament, it will be no mean feat to succeed. But they must first overcome a tricky tie against Getafe of La Liga.

Conte is demanding victory from his players and admits they may have to do whatever it takes.

In an interview reported by Football Italia, he knows things may turn dirty.

Conte said:

“We must give our best and have no regrets.”

“We don’t know where our best will take us, but the most important thing will be to have no regrets.”

“We are here, we are ready, we know it will be a tough game against a tough opponent. It could be a dirty game and we will have to get dirty, but the team have reached the maturity level to enter these kinds of games.”

“It’s an important competition for us, winning helps the process of development and to create confidence. It’s inevitable that we need to win.”

Why not check out the odds on Conte’s demands being met?
