Despite playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Douglas Costa finds Paulo Dybala to be his best teammate at Juventus.
Juventus forward Diego Costa recently took to Instagram to chat with the fans and answered a series of questions.
It has been well over a month since football matches in Italy were suspended. Costa is currently in quarantine in his homeland Brazil as he awaits the order to return to Italy once the coronavirus pandemic ends. And he admits he is starting to get anxious due to the prolonged lack of action on the pitch.
“I hope to return to Italy soon,” he said as Football Italia reports. “I can’t wait to get back, in part because I don’t know what to do here anymore.”
Many who have been fortunate enough to be on the same side as Cristiano Ronaldo label him as their best teammate. But Costa is not one of them and prefers the company of Paulo Dybala.
“My best teammate is Paulino [Dybala],” the Brazilian answered when asked to pick his favorite Juve teammate.
Furthermore, he was asked whether he likes to be the one providing assists or to be on the receiving end of passes. Costa suggests he doesn’t have a preference as long as Juve keep getting all three points in the bag.
“Both are fine for me,” he replied. “I can do it all. The important thing is that the team wins.”
