Could Bayern Munich be considering entering the race for Jadon Sancho after Hansi Flick’s latest praise of the winger?

There is set to be an intense race for the signature of Jadon Sancho this summer.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United are thought to be interested in the young Borussia Dortmund winger.

The Red Devils are favorites, with talk of a mega-money deal already in place.

Although those associated with Bayern Munich have not been shy about throwing their name into the hat either.

Now, given the recent comments by Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick, it would not be unthinkable that the Bavarian giants are keen admirers of the youngster, and could even make a bid.

With Bayern rejecting the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho, Sancho could be the next best thing.

According to Goal, Flick was full of compliments about the England winger after the top of the table clash between Bayern and Dortmund.

He said:

“I don’t like to talk about players who are under contract to other clubs.”

“I can say that Jadon Sancho has high quality but in the end, he also does Borussia Dortmund very, very well.”

“He is a great talent and has enormous qualities.”

“That’s why you simply have to acknowledge that Dortmund has a very good player there.”

The price being bandied around for Sancho is 120 million Euros, coincidently the same as the option to buy price placed on Coutinho.

It would make more sense for the Bavarians to splash that kind of cash on a player who is in form plus they would ultimately get 10 years service out of and still have a sell-on value.
