Philippe Coutinho has insisted that he is happy at Bayern and is planning to continue his career with the club.
Barcelona broke the bank to land Phillipe Coutinho from Liverpool. But the Brazilian could never reproduce his blistering form from his Liverpool days.
As a result, last year, Barcelona loaned out their most expensive signing ever to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Life in Germany seems to be going well for the 27-year old. The midfielder looks to have picked up his lost pace and improved his overall aspects in the game.
“I’m very comfortable,” Philippe Coutinho was quoted by the Bundesliga website.
“I plan to stay here for the year and I’m focused on my time here. If everything fits, then I’d love to stay.”
The number-10 also talked about changes under the new coach Hansi Flick. Coutinho revealed that he was suited to the style of play under Flick and that has helped him a lot.
“We understand his way of training and are playing well,” he added.
“Things are going well because of that. Flick makes everyone feel important and we’re happy, but we know there’s a lot of work to do.
“The change was a breath of fresh air for the team. We are motivated again. The atmosphere has completely changed. That’s the big difference for me,” Philippe Coutinho explained.
