Philippe Coutinho recently admitted he is expecting loads of criticism after they were knocked out from the quarter-finals on Friday.

Brazil lost 2-1 to Belgium due to the own goal of Fernandinho and Kevin De Bruyne. The winner will be facing France in the semi-final stage of the World Cup.

Coutinho claimed the team were more than desperate for the win but since they were not able to snatch it, they should now be aware of the criticism coming at them.

“We wanted to go all the way to the final but we’ve given our best shot. Everyone gave everything,” Coutinho said, according to Barca Blaugranes.

”I’m sure will be beaten up by criticism from all sides. Life goes on, that’s football. You win and you lose.”

“We’re sad because we wanted to win badly, like all Brazil. Unfortunately, we couldn’t.”

Coutinho was one of the key players in the tournament for Brazil as he was able to assist for the goal against Belgium as well.
