Coutinho has yet to convince Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge about a potential permanent deal at the end of the season.

Coutinho moved to Bayern Munich from Barcelona on loan for this season but has failed to live up to his reputation.

The German club have an option to buy at the end, but no decision has been made yet.

Despite scoring six goals and bagging six assists in the Bundesliga, the Bayern CEO claims he is yet to be convinced by Coutinho.

The Brazilian hasn’t been all that bad but has been largely inconsistent to justify his €119m buyout clause.

“Why is it not decisive? That is a difficult question,” said Rummenigge Bild via The Daily Mail .

“I think he played well in some games while in others he gave the impression of being a little inhibited.’

“The fact is that we all believe he is an exceptional footballer, we see him in training and sometimes during competitions,” said Rummenigge.

“Everyone tries to help him, the coach, his team-mates. Now we have to hope that in the crucial weeks starting now, he will become an important factor in helping us win titles.”

Barcelona are reportedly looking to offload Coutinho in the summer and it could be a move to yet another club in the summer.
