Coutinho wants to show what he can do with Bayern

Philippe Coutinho signed a contract with the current German Bundesliga champions and he vowed to deliver the best football he can show.

After struggling to make an impact for Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga, Philippe Coutinho has now been transferred to the German Bundesliga.

There he will play for one season with the current champions: Bayern Munich.

And for the footballer, this is the opportunity to show what he’s made of.

“For me, this move means a new challenge in a new country with one of the best clubs in Europe,” he said according to The Express.

“I’m very much looking forward to that.”

“Like FC Bayern, I have big ambitions and I’m convinced that I can achieve them together with my new teammates,” he added.

Kovac says it will be unlikely to see Coutinho and Muller in the same...

According to the Bayern Munich coach, Niko Kovac, both players don't fit in the team's line-up at the same time so he doesn't think they will be featured together.

“Philippe made it very clear to us during the negotiations in Barcelona that he absolutely wanted to move to FC Bayern,” Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said.

“He’s a world-class player with great ability, who we can deploy in a number of positions in our forward line, so the FC Bayern squad has gained even more quality.”

“Philippe Coutinho will help us achieve the ambitious targets we’ve set for this season,” Salihamidzic concluded.
