Coutinho’s agent says Liverpool return would be “a very difficult deal”

According to Kia Joorabchian, the only chance the player has to return to play to the English Premier League is if he does it with the Reds.

Philippe Coutinho didn’t have a great Spanish La Liga season in 2018-2019.

But the Brazilian footballer had an amazing Copa America participation, fuelling speculation that he might return to Liverpool.

“So with the build-up they’ve done and the squad they have, it [signing Coutinho] would really have to be something they would have to decide whether or not they feel there is now a current gap in the squad for someone like Philippe,” agent Kia Joorabchian told The Bleacher Report.

“I think it’s going to be a very difficult deal, but most of the big ones are always very, very difficult.”

“Obviously, if he were to move back [to the Premier League], it would have to be Liverpool, but at the moment I think it would be difficult and it would be up to them,” he said.

The agent believes Barcelona will not even think about selling him, much less to Manchester United.
