Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bugatti Veyron was involved in a crash in the northwest town of Mallorca, Bunyola.

The Manchester United frontman and his family, who are on holiday in Mallorca, were not in the car during the accident.

According to a Ultimata Hora Mallorca, an unnamed employee drove the car instead. The driver lost control of the vehicle and skidded into the entrance of an estate. The car also hit some butane canisters. The crash took place at around 11:00 am local time.

The occupants of the car suffered no injuries and reportedly left the scene of the accident; leaving another employee behind to greet the police and handle the report.

Local authorities towed the car, which boasts 1,001 horsepower and a top speed of 408 km/h, sometime after the crash and covered it in a blue tarp.

Ronaldo and his family are staying at a luxury mansion at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana. As per various reports, the property has a wealth of amenities. These include a gym, jacuzzi, swimming pool, sports pitch, and more.
