Cristiano Ronaldo excited for UCL knockout stage, trusts his “Potential”

Ronaldo hit the post in Juve’s 2-1 shocking loss against Young Boys but is excited the Italian club is moving forward to the Champions League’s knockout stages.

Cristiano Ronaldo said the best part of the Champions League is just getting started, saying he’s calm because he trusts in his potential. He also lamented not being able to reach the back of the net on a couple of occasions.

“I could have scored a couple of goals easily but this is football, we just have to start to focus on the next game.”

Emre Can also lamented not getting the win against Young Boys but is happy Juventus was able to get through as group leaders.

“We knew that it was going to be a tough game here,” Can said. “We had chances in the first half and didn’t score. I think that’s the biggest lesson for us.
