Ever since completing a €45m transfer from AS Monaco in 2018, Fabinho has proven to be a vital cog in the Liverpool midfield. His impact on the pitch, in fact, goes beyond simple numbers.
But long before Fabinho became such a star in the Premier League, he was a member of the Real Madrid youth set-up.
The Brazilian moved to the Spanish capital on loan twice between 2012 and 2013 from Rio Ave. He almost exclusively featured for Castilla before making a 14-minute cameo against Malaga in a La Liga game on May 2013.
He even assisted Angel Di Maria’s late goal to wrap up a 6-2 victory, with Ronaldo scoring the second goal.
