After a slow start to the season, Ronaldo has been amongst the goals and has given eye catching performances for the Old Lady.

Count out Cristiano Ronaldo at your own peril. This is the lesson many have learnt over the years and the Portuguese is doing it again as he rolls back the years despite turning 35 in February.

Ronaldo did start slow this season and probably this cost him the Ballon d’Or. Afterall, the Juventus hitman secured Serie A title and followed it up with the Nations League triumph with the Portugal setup.

The Madeiran has the hunger to continue and we will be seeing him at the top level until he is 40. Neutrals and fans can enjoy his brilliance for years to come as he is not stopping anytime soon.

The 2019/20 season started slowly but Ronaldo has caught up with it in his spectacular fashion. Three games that highlight his ageless performances are shared here.

Juventus 3-1 Udinese

The Old Lady were struggling in Serie A when Ronaldo came up with this masterclass effort. Maurizio Sarri’s men had gone two games without winning and were losing pace to Inter Milan.

Starting alongside Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain, Ronaldo was in great spirits as he scored a first-half brace. The Portuguese’s first goal came in the ninth minute as his first-time effort that coasted into the net.

Higuain turned back the years and it seemed as if he was back at the Bernabeu alongside Ronaldo. The Argentine’s well-weighted through ball was sent into the net by the power of Ronaldo’s left boot.

Leonardo Bonucci would complete the rout in the second half, but it was Ronaldo who impressed everyone in Turin.

Juventus 2-1 Parma Calcio

When you need Cristiano Ronaldo, he will step up. And Juventus wanted him to lead with the chasing pack breathing down their neck.

The Sporting youth academy graduate scored a well-timed brace to leave Parma with nothing to show for their enterprising efforts.

Ronaldo’s first goal of the night came from a deflected shot in the first half. However, Juventus were pegged back as Parma equalized through Andreas Cornelius.

Cristiano was not to be denied and he restored their advantage three minutes later. The Portugal captain hit a low strike in the bottom corner to continue his goal scoring run.

Juventus 4-0 Cagliari

Allianz Stadium is his preferred hunting ground in the Serie A. Ronaldo likes to delight Old Lady fans and made Cagliari pay at the start of 2020 calendar year.

His first goal came from a defensive error as he pounced to break the deadlock after the half-time. The former Manchester United forward added to his tally from the spot.

It was not the end of celebrations just yet, although the three points on offer were in the bag. Ronaldo would setup Gonzalo Higuain for Juventus’ third goal before completing his hattrick in a fast counter-attack.

This was his best performance of the season and he deserved all the plaudits.
