Marc Crosas thinks Barcelona have become Grey and boring like their manager Ernesto Valverde.
Crosas, was a product of the fabled La Masia academy.
He came up through the ranks, learning all about football the Barcelona way.
His first-team career at the Camp Nou surmounted to only a handful of appearances, and retirement from football at the age of 29.
In an interview with RAC1, Crosas said that his old team may have been successful, but lost their identity in the way that Valverde sets up shop.
“Barcelona have become a grey team because it reflects their Coach.”
“Barca’s philosophy no longer is no longer there, it should not be just about winning.
“Barca is a team that depends more and more on the stars and less on the team.”
His closing remarks will have been like a dagger to the heart of Barcelona faithful.
“It looks more and more like Florentino (Perez)’s Madrid than Barcelona’s six titles side.”
🗣️ "El Barça s'està convertint en un equip gris perquè és el reflex del seu entrenador"
🗣️ "La pregunta no és si s'està perdent l'essència, l'essència ja s'ha perdut"
