Crystal Palace are confident Roy Hodgson would be able to continue as club manager when the Premier League returns to action.
Roy Hodgson might leave Crystal Palace in a tricky situation should the Premier League eventually resume.
The veteran manager turns 73 in August, and is by far the oldest manager in the Premier League right now.
People over the age of 70 have been reported to be more at risk and Roy Hodgson might as well fall in that bracket.
The country still remains under lock-down and if the Premier League resumes behind closed doors, it remains to be seen whether the Palace boss would be allowed to take charge of his duties.
Recent reports claimed the 72-year-old was bothered as well but Football365 have now reported that Crystal Palace are confident Hodgson would be able to carry on.
Medical officials from major sports governing bodies will be involved in meetings starting this week and would further give Palace a direction of what to do.
The report concludes that Palace will keep in touch with the Premier League for advice but are currently adamant Hodgson will be keeping his coaching role.
