Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado scored a late goal that finally wrapped up the points against Cagliari which served as a reminder that there’re no easy games in Serie A.
Speaking after netting the third goal in Saturday’s 3-1 success at Allianz Stadium, the Colombian said via Juventus official website:
“We know we can’t afford to lower our game in Serie A because all the other teams are desperate to get a result against us and pull out all the stops when they play us.”
“I’m happy because we got the three points tonight and that’s all that matters.”
“We’re not setting any limits. We want to keep improving with every game. We know that’s what we have to do if we want to keep growing as a team.”
Cuadrado made his senior international debut in 2010 and has since earned over 70 caps.
Being part of the Colombian squads which reached the quarter-finals at two Copa América tournaments 2011, 2015 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup, he contributed to his nation’s third-place finish at the Copa América Centenario.
