Patrick Cutrone has affirmed his stunning volley that helped in AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Parma stems from the desire to win for the club.
Parma opened the scoring via Roberto Inglese from a corner, but Milan restored parity within 15 minutes thanks to Cutrone’s volley from a tight angle then followed by Franck Kessie penalty to seal the win.
“It’s an important victory and a great success. It’s not easy to go behind and fight back for the win, especially as Parma tried to clam up, but we did really well,” the striker told Football Italia.
“My goal came from my desire to win. I give everything to get the victory for Milan. I have always had a good rapport with the Coach and we hope to continue like this.”
Considering he keeps scoring so regularly in Serie A and the Europa League, is Cutrone concerned at the possible January arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic?
“If Ibrahimovic comes, then good, but either way I focus on my own progress.”
