Outstanding performance from Gareth Bale for Real Madrid, who scored a hat-trick in one hour and placed his squad in the Club World Cup final.

To sell or not to sell Gareth Bale, that is the question for Real Madrid. The Welsh winger has done it again, he came out of obscurity in a crucial match and left everybody at Real Madrid’s board of directors filled with doubts to whether it’s best to sell him or not.

We all know that this player’s MO is to suffer injuries throughout the whole season practically, but he has always appeared in the most crucial moments to score the most important goals like the hat-trick he scored today against Kashima Antlers.

Los Blancos came massively under fire last week after losing an unimportant match against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, they desperately needed a victory that could get them back into the fans’ good graces and Gareth Bale was right in the middle of the good results.

Another player who had a stellar performance was Marcelo, who assisted the ‘Cardiff Express’ on his first and third goals.

But the night was all about Real Madrid’s number ’11’, who managed to smile again after yet another injury-filled season that he is still trying to get through.

Real Madrid really tried to score that first goal during the first half, Kashima Antlers held the fort throughout nearly all the first half.

They were partly lucky and partly on point with some defensive coverage against the likes of Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez, and Bale himself.

But Gareth did look like he was on another speed, very different from the rest and that was going to become his ultimate ally during the second half of the match.

Just before half-time, the left winger combined a beautiful one-two with Marcelo that he finished clinically to the bottom corner with his left foot for Real Madrid’s first goal of the evening.

Eight minutes into the second half, Gareth decided to fight for a long ball that seemed lost if it hadn’t been for his impressive physical prowess.

The Welshman was able to reach that impossible long pass from behind the midfield line and even dribble the goalkeeper, after that he was able to just push the ball in the back of the net for his second goal of the evening.

But the match still wasn’t over, the best was yet to come from Gareth Bale.

It only took him two more minutes to get that wide smile back again, the same one he had when he scored that overhead kick goal against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

Bale combined with Marcelo once again, the Brazilian was on point with the assist that left Gareth alone in front of the goalkeeper and his decision was to plunge his shot to the far top corner.

It was three goals from the Welshman and a direct ticket to the Club World Cup final against the surprising Al Ain.

The final consensus was that with this hat-trick, it is proven once more that Gareth Bale is living large with a life that gives him enough gas in the tank to deliver his best performances in the most important matches of the season.

Right about now, we are certain that president Florentino Perez is talking to his board of directors and discussing the best course of action with this specific player because selling him next summer could be a mistake.

And Gareth Bale knows that as long as he keeps delivering results in the knock-out stages of any competition, Real Madrid will have a hard time trying to sell him because they would lose their only player who actually wins the titles.
