Manchester United have been handed an injury boost by new signing Diogo Dalot and Argentina’s Marcos Rojo, according to Manchester Evening News.
The pair are expected to resume training before the club’s game against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday.
Dalot is yet to make his United debut due to injury since signing for the club this summer from FC Porto while Rojo is working his way back into the team after picking up an injury during Argentina’s 4-3 second round loss to France at the just concluded FIFA World Cup.
Both players posted updates on social media yesterday pointing towards them making their returns back to the training pitch.
After seeing his team concede three goals in their last game against Brighton the return of these defenders would be good news to manager Jose Mourinho.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are expected to stay at the club this summer despite speculation linking them with moves away from the club.
Barcelona believe they won’t be signing Paul Pogba this summer per reports in Spain while reports in the French media suggests Martial is willing to fight for his place in the United team.
