Inter Milan versatile footballer, Danilo D’Ambrosio, has seen his contract being extended up to June 2022.
Italian footballer Danilo D’Ambrosio has been playing professionally since 2008, but it was in 2014 when he joined Internazionale Milan, with whom he has had much success.
His contract was set to expire on June 2021, but according to his manager, the Nerazzurri has extended his contract up to 2022.
“There was just a chat with the director and then they proved how much they appreciate Danilo. It was a sign of recognition for the player and that was very pleasing,” his agent Vincenzo Pisacane was quoted by Football Italia.
“They will speak when it’s official and give a statement, but we are very happy with the fact he is so well appreciated.”
He explained: “Every time I brought an offer for Danilo to Inter, they always said no.”
“Every time they refused to even negotiate.”
“Now Inter can really achieve something important with a winner like Antonio Conte,” he added.
“He already played in a center-back role under Luciano Spalletti, so it’s not new, but he is learning a great deal and doing very well.”
