David Villa is reportedly unwilling to give up on his professional football career as he prepares for a new venture following an outstanding episode in Major League Soccer
After four astonishing seasons with the MLS outfit New York City, the 36-year-old forward is set to greet the Boys in Blue and start a new adventure on Asian soil.
A club symbol and a record goalscorer, Villa has scored 80 goals in 126 outings for the Pigeons, leading his side to the Conference semi-finals three years in a row.
However, with his contract at NY City running out at the end of the year, the Spaniard has announced he will reunite with his former Barcelona teammate Andres Iniesta at Vissel Kobe.
Via his official Twitter account, Villa has confirmed his next destination.

As things stand, Villa and Iniesta are set to form once again what was a remarkable partnership at Barcelona, where the duo spent the best time of their careers.
After Fernando Torres, the Japanese J1 League is about to witness another 2010 FIFA World Cup winner.
