Davies says Tottenham Hotspur needs to look ahead

The Spurs lost 1-0 against Manchester City in the English Premier League, but Ben Davies wants his team to see the positives.

Phil Foden scored in the first five minutes of play, and Manchester City defeated Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in yesterday’s English Premier League fixture.

And for Spurs player Ben Davies, the positives ahead are biggest than a single lost in the league.

“It’s always hard to see any positives straight after a defeat,” said Ben to the club’s official website.

“It was tough, they had a lot of the ball and we knew we had to try and take our chances if they came.”

“We certainly created the chances but unfortunately we didn’t take them this time. That’s the difference between this game and Wednesday night, we were a bit more clinical,” he added.

“So it’s never easy to reflect but look, it’s about kicking on and trying to win every game between now and the end of the season. That’s the target and it starts against Brighton on Tuesday.”

“It will be tough, they are fighting for everything and they will go the full 90 minutes to try to get something out of the game. We have to be ready. We’ve played well at the new stadium so far and we need to keep that momentum going for the rest of the season,” Davies concluded.

Neville demands answers from Solskjaer

According to the former English Premier Leauge footballer, United's manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to tell fans what his plan for the club is.

Tottenham Hotspur is currently in the third place of the table with 67 points, thanks to 22 victories, one draw, and 11 defeats.

The team still has four matches left to play in the 2018-2019 Premier League season: Against Brighton and Hove Albion, West Ham United, Bournemouth, and Everton.

Meanwhile, they are also playing in the UEFA Champions League Semifinal against Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax.
