The Dutchman believes that the forward would certainly make an impact at Anfield.
Former Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer believes that Wilfried Zaha has what it takes to play for a big club, pointing at Liverpool as a great destination for the striker.
The Ivory Coast international had a horrible start of the 2017-18 campaign following a knee injury in August that took him out for the greater part of the season. However, the striker has now returned to fitness and made a great impact on Palace’s form under Hodgson.
Even though the 25-year-old failed to impress during his Manchester United spell 5 years ago, De Boer is confident that the striker has the capacity to perform at a higher level than Palace.
“I was really a little bit unfortunate that he was injured in the first game,” the Dutchman said, according to Daily Star.
“I missed him in the coming six games. He has a major impact for Crystal Palace because he can make something out of nothing.
“He can play for a much bigger club than Crystal Palace, that’s for sure, I’m 100 per cent convinced.
“Liverpool would be a great club for him, but I’m going to see what he does in the future. I’m very interested in him because I think he has a great potential.”
