Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has a big-money offer to buy the club, the bid of €560m comes from Qatar.

The family that rules of the nation of Qatar, and also owns PSG, has apparently offered Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis 560 million Euros for the club.

The club has been surrounded by controversy and problems of late, and De Laurentiis has been an outspoken owner.

Demanding that players and coaches attend camps he has organized, threatening to fine, sell or even fire those that don’t meet with his demands.

De Laurentiis is never one to hide his thoughts and opinions.

Nobody is safe from his venomous tongue, even speaking out against match officials who he feels have cost his side valuable points.

The owner has caused such a stir that fans feel that the players are betraying the club they love, which has resulted in players being mobbed, abused and even having their homes attacked.

The Qatari group has apparently offered 560 million Euros to bring the circus to an end.

According to the Daily Mail, De Laurentiis has become disenchanted with Napoli and will instead turn his attentions to the other Italian club he owns, Bari of Serie C.

They said:

“The feeling is that Aurelio has lost the desire to invest in Napoli.”
