De Laurentiis hopes for a Napoli revolution

The Italian owner hopes his team can have a strong summer transfer window and be able to make great transfer decisions.

Napoli finished in the second position of the Italian Lega Serie A season with 79 points.

They were 11 points behind champions Juventus.

The team was able to win 24 out of 38 matches, drawing seven times, and losing in seven occasions.

“Napoli is the only big team who hasn’t had an internal revolution”, has said Aurelio De Laurentiis according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

“This will allow us to build an even stronger team, with Ancelotti who has two more years of the contract.”

He explained: “We’re really happy about his work during his first season.”

“Summer will be long. Before buying anyone, we’ll have to reduce the number of players we have.”

“We need to remember we have a certain number of players that have been loaned out: Sepe, Grassi, Inglese,” he said.

Cristiano Ronaldo starts for Juventus’ Serie A opener

Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to the Juventus line-up for this evening's opening game of the new Serie A season at Parma.

“We also have already bought Di Lorenzo, a great move”.

He was also asked about the rumor that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is set to join Juventus next year: “I am completely detached from that affair.”

“I think that when people grow older, they have the responsibilities of their own actions”.
