De Sciglio praises Juve after 7-0 win

Juventus defender Mattia De Sciglio has heaped praise on his side following their 7-0 victory against Sassuolo on Sunday’s Serie A league game

De Sciglio himself produced a faultless display as Juventus trashed Sassuolo in what the Italian described as a ‘perfect game’. Speaking to the Juventus website, De Sciglio remarked on the significance teamwork had in the victory and claimed that Juventus were still hungry for more.

“I’m pleased but I must say that we all did well,” the Italian began. “We played the perfect game.”

“First of all, it’s the approach and also how we started the second half, keeping the tempo high without letting off. The rate the games are coming at helps us: we have a lot of fixtures, so we have to stay ready.

Keane knew Ronaldo was going to be one of the best

In a book published by former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, it was revealed he knew how good Cristiano Ronaldo was going to be in the future.

“The key to always being on the ball,” De Sciglio continued, “is working as a team, having an objective in mind and everyone moving in the same direction. Of course, the results help, but we’re always hungry for more.”

Striker Gonzalo Higuain scored a hat-trick in the game, and De Sciglio had this to say about the Argentine.

“Gonzalo is a superstar. I feel like laughing when he’s criticized after not scoring for a couple of games.”
