Sassuolo has remained undefeated with a 5-3 fireworks display against Genoa, however, their head coach Roberto De Zerbi is confident they can still improve.
The Neroverdi has entred second place and has become one of only two teams unbeaten after three rounds while the other is Juventus.
On the other hand, Fiorentina have only played two matches, as their clash with Sampdoria has been rescheduled for September 19.
“We’ve got to relax and not look too far ahead,” insisted De Zerbi via Football Italia.
“I said before the season began that we had a strong squad, but we are also young and in some circumstances that can be dangerous.
“We need to learn that the game isn’t over until the final whistle and hopefully tonight will help knock that into our heads.”
Sassuolo had been 5-1 up before allowing two late Genoa goals to open it up again at the Mapei Stadium.
“We can still improve, we have to improve and we will improve. I am not too tied to tactical systems, it’s more about interpretation and the characteristics of the opponent.”
