Jadon Sancho has got Manchester United fans purring after he posted a photo alongside Marcus Rashford on social media.

Sancho continues to center around all United transfer news. If that deal goes on to materialize, it could easily be the biggest of the summer.

According to what most outlets have reported, the major issue putting any move for the winger on hold is the hefty price tag Borussia Dortmund have slammed on him.

The Bundesliga giants are only willing to accept £100m at the very least for Sancho. For all of their financial strength, the Red Devils are so far not willing to pay that much given the economic situation of clubs due to the pandemic.

But is there a breakthrough already? We don’t know yet but we can only wonder.

Earlier today, a report from the Independent claimed United and Dortmund agreed on a fee for Sancho. The reported fee was £60m including bonuses that could see the total package rise to £100m.

To think that wasn’t enough, the Borussia Dortmund star teased United fans only mere hours after that report came to light.

Sancho and Marcus Rashford are close pals and the 20-year-old took to social media to post a picture of them together. But his choice of words looked like a cheeky hint.

“If we’re all on the same team, we’ll never be defeated” Sancho posted on his Twitter account.

It could well be nothing but the timing of those words leaves you thinking deeper about their meaning. Borussia Dortmund starts their pre-season duties on August 10 and it would make sense that they want the future of Sancho sorted before then.

Time will tell how this transfer story ends.
