Corriere Dello Sport’s disgusting headline is a demonstration of just how serious the racism problem is in Italy.

Corriere Dello Sport has produced a headline on its latest publication which can only be described as disgusting.

The cover photo picture, Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling as Inter Milan and Roma prepare to do battle, while the headline reads “Black Friday.”

Both players are clearly players of color, and the newspaper’s choice of words can only be deemed poor at least.

Italian football has been in the headlines on numerous occasions regarding its take on racism.

Lukaku has been the subject of racial slurs and chants during his time in Italy.

Mario Balotelli left the field of play after racial abuse from fans.

Brescia owner Cellino was condemned for his poor choice of words regarding Balotelli.

UEFA has even stepped in to demand that Italian football takes a more serious stand against the problem rather than brush it under the carpet.

So this latest incident has only added fuel to the fire that Italy has some serious problems in its fight against racism.

The footballing world has taken to the internet to express their dismay.
