Donnarumma wish Gonzalo Higuain luck ahead of the Chelsea move

Ahead of Chelsea transfer move for Gonzalo Higuain, Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma wished teammate good luck after they beat Genoa 2-0 on Monday.

Donnarumma gave impressive saves to help them in the  2-0 victory at Marassi.  Fabio Borini and Suso score the two goals.

“The Supercoppa defeat hurt, but our objective is fourth place and we are up there. Now let’s focus on the next match, this one’s in the bag,” Donnarumma told Sky Sport Italia as quoted by Football Italia.

“It wasn’t a great start, but we suffered all together and that is the most important thing. We fought hard and our quality emerged eventually to win a very difficult match.”

Analysis- Four things Lampard will need to do at Chelsea

If the rumours are true, Frank Lampard could be the new Chelsea manager sooner rather than later.

“If Higuain made this choice, there must be reasons, but he is a friend and I wish him all the best.

“There’s a long way to go, but we’ll do everything we can to achieve our objectives and keep taking it one game at a time.

“I am a big Napoli fan, it’s my city and I am happy they are doing well… but we hope to beat them in Serie A and the Coppa Italia!”
