Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has no doubts that Christian Pulisic will quickly adapt to Premier League football and thrive at Chelsea

The Blues signed the highly-rated Pulisic in a €64m deal this month and have loaned him back to Dortmund for the remainder of this season.

Since arriving at Signal Iduna Park in 2015, Pulisic has grown into one of the most exciting young prospects for both European football and the United States.

Therefore, Zorc has no doubts that the 20-year-old winger will prove to be a success in the Premier League.

BREAKING: Mkhitaryan will miss the Europa League Final

The Armenian footballer will not travel to Azerbaijan for the final between Arsenal and Chelsea at the end of May.

“He’s a lad who comes with that typically American self-confidence,” Zorc told ESPN.

“Many of his characteristics will help him in England where everything is just little bit more intense than in the Bundesliga.

“He has the pace, he’s got the dribbling, he wants to get ahead at all costs. I don’t know a single reason why he wouldn’t make it there.”

Dortmund are currently training in Marbella, Spain, ahead of their return to Bundesliga action from the winter break on January 19 away to RB Leipzig.
