One of the best strikers in the Premier League era talked about PSG’s sensational duo and their chances of winning individual awards in the future.
The French premier striking duo showed a lot of exciting moments since pairing up in 2017.
However, they still couldn’t make a significant impact in the Champions League, as Neymar faced injuries in the knock-out phase both of the seasons at Paris Saint-Germain.
A long summer-saga saw Neymar stay at PSG. The Brazilian wanted to join Barcelona at all costs but was unable to do so with PSG’s huge demands which Barcelona couldn’t afford.

However, the beginning of the season saw Neymar bring two wins with great individual efforts to score in the dying minutes of the match.
As for Mbappe, the amazing Frenchman just recovered from an injury which saw him miss the start of the season.
Neither Mbappe or Neymar won the Ballon d’Or yet, but Didier Drogba believes that could change soon.
Drogba had all sorts of praise for the duo. According to Goal, Drogba said:
“Yes Neymar and Mbappe will win the Ballon d’Or one day.
“They are part of this small group of exceptional players – [there are] very little in the world.
“Neymar likes to create spaces and takeoffs, and Kylian likes to take those spaces, that’s it: Neymar creates and Kylian takes advantage.
“It works very well, just watch them when they’re together, they are constantly looking for each other.”
PSG will face Bordeaux today in an attempt to recover from an unexpected defeat to Reims in the mid-week fixture.
