Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka insists that ongoing talks to sell the club will not affect their performance in the Premier League.
Club owner Mike Ashley has revealed his eagerness to sell Newcastle United before the end of the year and has reportedly received four offers so far, but Dubravka is refusing to be caught up with off-field negotiations saying the players’ focus remains on the pitch.
“I’ve heard many things about it (the negotiations) but the players are not involved in these things. They are trying to be focused about their jobs on the pitch,” Dubravka told Sky Sports.
“You can notice things happening but you want to be a little bit away from that because it can go really deep in your mind.
“You want to be focused on your job. We still don’t know what is going to happen and it’s hard to say how things will go.”
