Eden Hazard is not considering a January exit from Chelsea and likely will bide his time before deciding whether to join Real Madrid, reckons his brother
The Belgian winger has been strongly linked with a move to Real since the summer transfer window.
The Champions League holders lost star man Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus and are still reeling from his absence.
Therefore, talk of Real pushing for a January move to bring Hazard to the Santiago Bernabeu has been going about.
The 27-year-old revealed last month that he’s still dreaming of joining Los Blancos.
But the superstar’s brother, Thorgan, doubts any possible transfer will occur until the end of the season at the earliest.
The Borussia Monchengladbach forward reckons his brother will play it smart and see how things develop at the struggling Real over the course of this season.
“Eden made the right decision to stay at Chelsea,” Thorgan told HLN.
“Chelsea weren’t keen on selling him and he had a strong start of the season.
“Real Madrid are in a complex period. They sacked their manager, key players left. They have to rebuild.”
He added: “I think Eden will see what happens at the end of the season. I know him. He’s not thinking about a move right now.
“He will give everything for Chelsea. He doesn’t want a clash with his club either.
“If he ever leaves, he will play it correctly.”
Real ended their five-match winless run in La Liga on Saturday by defeating Real Valladolid 2-0 at home.
Los Galacticos are now sixth in La Liga and seven points off leaders Barcelona.
