Arsenal manager Unai Emery revealed that he is yet to make a final decision on whether Mesut Ozil will make a return to the team for tonight’s Europa League game with Qarabag FK
The German playmaker hasn’t featured for Arsenal since their 1-1 home draw against Wolves in the Premier League on November 11.
Ozil has been struggling with back problems, but he’s been included in Emery’s 18-man squad for tonight’s Group E finale at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking on Wednesday, however, the Spanish coach would not confirm if Ozil will actually have any game time.
“I don’t know,” said Emery on Arsenal.com.
“Tomorrow he is in the group, there are 18 players in the squad for this match and I am going to decide if he plays tomorrow from the beginning or during the match in the 90 minutes.”
Ozil has managed four goals and one assist in 12 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal this season.
The Gunners’ Europa League match against Qarabag will begin at 21:00 (CET).
