Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has joined RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season.
Smith Rowe has impressed at the club this season, scoring three goals from his six first-team appearances, in the UEFA Europa League and Carabao Cup.
The 18-year-old has also featured in Premier League matchday squads but is yet to make his league debut.
The Gunners confirmed Smith Rowe has made the move in order to gain more playing time on the pitch under his belt.
“Emile is a promising young player. This move will get him valuable competitive action which is important as he continues his development,” Arsenal manager Unai Emery said, according to Sky Sports.
Smith Rowe joins Reiss Nelson, who’s currently on loan at TSG Hoffenheim, as the second Arsenal player on loan in the Bundesliga.
Leipzig currently in fourth place in the German League with 34 points from 19 games.
