Juventus have announced that Emre Can has returned to training following surgery on a thyroid nodule
The 24-year-old midfielder has not featured for Juventus since their 2-0 Serie A win at Udinese on October 6.
This was due to a thyroid nodule being detected in Emre, which forced the German to be sidelined.
At the end of last month, Juventus confirmed Emre had undergone successful surgery in Frankfurt and that he would be closely monitored.
Now Emre’s return to action is closer than ever after an announcement was made on the club website confirming his attendance in a training session on Tuesday.
Captain Giorgio Chiellini also featured at Continassa after being released from international duty with Italy.
But the injured Miralem Pjanic, Federico Bernardeschi and Sami Khedira all worked alone.
Juventus will face SPAL at home this Saturday as they look to extend their best ever start to a Serie A season.
